On the morning of Tamsin and Tom’s autumn wedding, soft fog and light rain covered the estate. While many couples worry about grey skies, Elmore Court remains one of the most photogenic wedding venues in the Cotswolds even on the cloudiest days. By the time The Roseshed delivered the bouquet, vows were exchanged and the register was signed, the sun began to push through the clouds, lighting up the grounds just as guests headed outdoors with drinks in hand.
A relaxed and joyful celebration
As the celebrations began, I worked quickly to capture family photographs in the fresh autumn air while guests gathered to chat, laugh, and enjoy the atmosphere. The soundtrack to the afternoon came courtesy of Cotswold Wedding Guitarist Matthew Bee who filled the courtyard with acoustic favourites, from classic love songs to modern Ed Sheeran renditions. It created the perfect ambiance for a relaxed, joyful gathering.
The Gillyflower wedding breakfast
Guests later moved into The Gillyflower, Elmore Court’s award winning sustainable reception building. Flooded with warm light and designed with natural materials, this space is always a stunning setting for a wedding breakfast. On this day it looked especially beautiful thanks to the bride, Tamsin, who owns Bespoke Signs and Stationery. She crafted every table design herself, filling the room with personal touches, elegant signage, and thoughtful details.
Outside, pheasants wandered across the gardens while inside the sound of laughter, clinking glasses, and delicious food filled the room. It was the perfect blend of countryside warmth and modern celebration.
